The Baylor College of Medicine Department of Pediatrics, Division of Emergency Medicine, in association with Texas Children's Hospital, is seeking pediatric emergency medicine (PEM) physicians , within the highly respected Emergency Medicine Division. Opened in February 2024 , our new state-of-the-art full-service hospital in Austin will increase access to quality healthcare for children and women across central Texas. - Core privileges including the performance of high stakes and other procedures performed during emergency care delivery.
- Experience treating acutely ill and injured infants, children, and adolescents 0 -21 years of age.
- Experience treating patients in Level 2 trauma center.
Minimum Requirements
- Applicants must have an M.D., or D.O or (equivalent degree), and be:
- ABEM or ABP Board certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Emergency Medicine
- or ABEM Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine with experience or specials interest in pediatric emergency medicine (e.g., EM/PEDS combined residency, Emergency Physician with experience working in a children s ER, etc.)
- The candidate selected for the position must be eligible to obtain or already hold an active Texas medical license. (Licensed by the Texas Medical Board)
