Job DetailsWe are seeking an experienced and dedicated Pediatric Dentist to join our established dental team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for serving children's dental needs and ensuring a positive experience for them. The Pediatric Dentist will be responsible for providing comprehensive treatment planning for pediatric patients, including regular check-ups, cleaning, and complex dental procedures. They will also educate patients and parents about oral hygiene and preventive dental care.
Schedule: Monday- Thursdays: 6:45am- 4:00pm. Short day on Tuesdays
One Friday/Month in office sedation with anesthesiologist team
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and provide effective treatment for patients' dental needs, including fillings, extractions, preventive care, and disease management.
- Develop treatment plans for patients, outlining the steps and required procedures to achieve a particular outcome.
- Perform routine dental procedures, including cleaning teeth, examining for cavities, and repairing damaged teeth.
- Educate patients and parents about the importance of oral hygiene and preventive dental care, providing instructions for at-home dental care.
- Collaborate with other dental professionals and staff to provide top-quality patient care.
Qualifications:
- DDS/DMD degree from an accredited dental school.
- Active TX state dental license.
- Board-certified Pediatric Dentist or eligible to obtain board certification.
- Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in Pediatric Dentistry.
- Proven experience with nitrous and oral sedation.
