Responsibilities:
Assist Pediatric Dentist: Aid our experienced pediatric dentist in various procedures such as cleanings, check-ups, and treatments.
Patient Care: Provide excellent care for young patients, ensuring their comfort and ease during visits.
Sterilization and Sanitization: Maintain rigorous infection control measures, guaranteeing a safe and hygienic environment.
Chairside Assistance: Prepare and arrange equipment, instruments, and materials for procedures while maintaining orderliness.
Record Keeping: Accurately document patient information, dental history, and treatment notes using digital systems.
Radiography: Assist in capturing dental x-rays using modern digital radiography equipment.
Patient Education: Educate parents and children on oral hygiene and treatment plans in a friendly, informative manner.
Infection Control: Adhere to safety and infection control guidelines to safeguard patient and staff health.
Team Player: Collaborate with a diverse team of professionals, fostering a positive and supportive work environment.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Graduation from an accredited dental assisting program.
Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) preferred but not required.
Pediatric dental experience or a strong desire to work with children.
Knowledge of dental instruments and procedures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency with dental software and record-keeping.
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
