Servicing Areas: Tuscaloosa, AL 35405, 35404, 35401- Private Duty Nurse for a total care pediatric client.
Hours: 12 hours per day 7 days a week - Flexible will discuss hours with nurse and family.

As an Addus Nurse, you will:
- Enable patients to stay independent while they remain in their own homes.
- Perform selected nursing procedures, commensurate with experience and education within the scope of LPN/LVN practice including but not limited to: tracheostomy care, colostomy care, enemas, douches, catheterizations, dressing changes, and phlebotomies.
- Provide patient and family teaching according to plan outlined by the RN.
- Monitor patient's vital signs and make specific measurements and observations.
- Monitor and record intake and output. Report significant changes immediately.
- Perform routine supervisory visits to evaluate the plan of care and supervise the delivery of excellent client service.
- Communicate with Case Managers and other members of the care team
REQUIREMENTS
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and current practical nurse licensure.
- At least 2 year of practical nursing experience.
- Must be able to travel locally in your own vehicle, and possess a valid driver's license and appropriate automobile insurance coverage.
