PCB Assembly & Test
Assembly, Inspection and Test electronic Assemblies. Inspect and rework all surface mount assemblies in accordance to IPC-610 standards.
Essential Requirements:
- Assemble electronic components, subassemblies, products and systems. Read work orders, production drawings, follow example assemblies and verbal instruction.
- Potting, encapsulating, sanding, cleaning, epoxy bonding, curing, marking, etching, impregnating and color coding product
- Go no Go testing and inspection mechanical and electronic test using magnifying tools and measuring instruments. Ensure parts meet specifications and standards.
- Inprocess Inspection ensuring built to print and IPC-610 standards compliance.
- Must solder and rework of SMT components
Other Duties
- Filing data sheets into logs
- Perform inventory counts where assigned
Equipment
- Hand tools: screw drivers, pliers, cutters, forming tools, soldering iron etc.
- Solder pot and hot plate
- engraver
- water test tank
- microscope
Physical Demands
- Stand, walk, sit using upper extremity constantly
- Fine Dexterity both hands
- Very good eyesight
- Ability to lift 30 lbs
- Reach 30 inches
Required Experience:
- Must be able to read and understand oral instruction
- Relate inventory stock issues and procedures to supervisor
- Good attitude and positive interaction with co-workers
