Arthrex Inc. is actively seeking a Payroll Tax Specialist for our corporate office in Naples, FL. This position will maintain all US and Canada payroll tax files and filings. Also, they will act as a liaison for payroll with the finance team and HRIS technical team. Excellent attention to detail, strong analytical and communication skills are necessary for the position along with 8 years of experience in payroll for companies larger than 500 employees required. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for reviewing all work from home approvals for existing employees and new hires.
  • Setup, maintain & close tax jurisdiction with 3rd party vender and HRIS systems. Annual updates for SUI Rates.
  • Review/resolve tax agency notices with 3rd party vender.
  • Review/test all TUBS (tax update bulletins) within HRIS and coordinate with HRIS technical team.
  • Assist with third party multistate payroll tax filings and reconciliations (Monthly/Quarterly/Annual). This includes ownership of all year-end W-2 processing.
  • Calculate payments for Relo/Tuition/Sign on recoveries for termed employees - Complete W2c's for prior year payments and all adjustments within HRIS & 3rd party vender to ensure annual tax filings are correct.
  • Per pay period validation with IRS deposits posted by 3rd party vender.
  • File Quarterly/Annual JDC credits/reports.
  • Partner with technical team on HRIS/Payroll tickets
  • Workers Comp Quarterly Filings - Annual Audits
  • Monthly GL reconciliations. PTO (monthly), YOS(Quarterly) accruals for Finance.
  • Semimonthly TM1 files for Finance
  • Canada Payroll Processing and maintain Provincial tax setup/compliance.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting preferred.
  • 8 years' experience required for payroll of over 500 employees required.
  • Certified Payroll Professional preferred

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

General knowledge of accounting principles with strong attention to detail. Ability to multi-task and work under deadlines. Strong math aptitude. Intermediate level Excel skills required. Report writing experience required. High level of confidentiality and discretion is required.


Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:

Microsoft Office skills required. SAP & ADP experience a plus. Ability to process payroll transactions via a computerized HRIS system.
