Job Details

A Payroll Tax Specialist needs to be accurate and compliant in payroll tax processing and have a deep understanding of tax regulations. You will be responsible for managing payroll tax activities, resolving tax-related issues, and staying current with changes in tax laws.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations.
  • Process payroll taxes accurately and timely.
  • Manage and reconcile payroll tax discrepancies and resolve any issues that arise.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure that all payroll tax data is accurate.
  • Prepare and submit payroll tax reports to relevant authorities.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of payroll tax rates and regulations.
  • Utilize payroll software and systems (Workday, ADP Smart Compliance) to process and manage payroll taxes efficiently.
  • Collaborate with other team members to improve payroll tax processes and procedures.
  • Prepare and submit accurate and timely payroll tax reports to relevant authorities.
  • Generate and analyze payroll tax report
  • Provide support to employees and management regarding payroll tax inquiries and issues.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
  • Previous experience in payroll tax processing and compliance.
  • Use Workday and/or ADP Smart Compliance to manage payroll tax processes.
  • Fluency in Spanish and experience with Puerto Rican tax laws is a plus
