OVERVIEW OF THE PAYROLL SUPERVISOR ROLE:
- The Payroll Supervisor supervises a team of payroll specialists, providing guidance and support to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
- Oversee and process the end-to-end payroll process, including but not limited to payroll calculations, tax withholding, deductions, and benefit contributions.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations and tax laws, staying up-to-date on changes and implementing necessary adjustments.
- Payroll Supervisor reviews and reconciles payroll data to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Manage payroll-related reporting requirements, including preparing and analyzing payroll reports for management and external stakeholders.
- Payroll Supervisor implements and maintains payroll systems and software, optimizing functionality and efficiency.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR PAYROLL SUPERVISOR ROLE:
- At least 5 years of previous payroll experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
- Bachelor's degree is nice but not required for Payroll Supervisor role.
- Strong excel skills
