Responsibilities of the Payroll Specialist:
  • Processing multi-state payroll for 500+ employees
  • Processing paperwork for pay changes, new hires, and terminations
  • Answering employee questions regarding payroll
  • Maintaining accurate records of payroll processes
  • Facilitating payroll audits as requested
  • Annual performance evaluation assistance
  • Recommending any necessary updates or changes to payroll procedures and software

Background Expected of the Payroll Specialist:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Human Resources, or Business Administration or experience equivalent
  • 2+ years in a payroll role
  • ADP Workforce Now experience is a plus but not required
