Responsibilities of the Payroll Specialist:
- Processing multi-state payroll for 500+ employees
- Processing paperwork for pay changes, new hires, and terminations
- Answering employee questions regarding payroll
- Maintaining accurate records of payroll processes
- Facilitating payroll audits as requested
- Annual performance evaluation assistance
- Recommending any necessary updates or changes to payroll procedures and software
Background Expected of the Payroll Specialist: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Human Resources, or Business Administration or experience equivalent
- 2+ years in a payroll role
- ADP Workforce Now experience is a plus but not required
