Payroll Specialist

Our client is a social service organization based in the North Metro, providing services to individuals of all ages

They are seeking an individual to join their payroll team, as they have been implementing new HRIS technology and continue to grow

The payroll specialist will perform these functions:
-Process the transmittal of a semi-monthly payroll
-Ensure compliance with payroll regulations
-Process adjustments related to taxes, benefit payments, and fringe benefits
-Assist supervisors with Kronos timekeeping system
-Document internal controls and maintain a procedure manual/documentation for all payroll procedures
-Review and solve complex issues as they occcur
-Assist in reconciliation of payroll general ledger and benefit accounts with vendor invoices
-Submit tax and payroll related invoices for payment

We are hoping for the following experience:
-Two years in a payroll environment
-Kronos workforce payroll and timekeeping experience
-ADP services exposure
-Strong communication, math and technology skills
-The ability to handle multiple tasks and projects

Certified Payroll Professional(CPP) certification is a plus.
Great Plains system knowledge is also a plus

Work Model:

This client is currently operating with a hybrid work model, with up to 2 days in office every week, they are seeking an individual who can work responsibly and independently with limited daily supervision

Compensation:

$28-32/hr
