OVERVIEW OF THE PAYROLL SPECIALIST ROLE:
- The Payroll Specialist will process bi-weekly or monthly payroll, ensuring accurate calculation of wages, deductions, and adjustments.
- Review and verify payroll data for accuracy and completeness before processing.
- The Payroll Specialist will address employee payroll inquiries and resolve any issues or discrepancies.
- Prepare and distribute payroll reports; ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist with year-end processes.
- The Payroll Specialist will collaborate with HR and Finance to maintain accurate employee records and reconcile payroll accounts.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR PAYROLL SPECIALIST ROLE:
- Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledge of payroll tax regulations and compliance requirements.
