What you'll do as a Payroll Specialist:

  • Manage payroll processes with precision, including handling garnishments and ensuring accuracy in all transactions.
  • Ensure quality assurance is correct by conducting necessary legwork, including data verification and auditing of payroll records.
  • Handle inquiries related to payroll, providing timely and accurate responses to staff queries and concerns.
  • Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure payroll data integrity and compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Provide support and guidance to staff on payroll-related inquiries and issues.
  • Generate payroll reports and analysis as needed for management review.
  • Play a vital role in maintaining office efficiency by filling in on essential tasks as needed.

What you'll need to succeed as a Payroll Specialist:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1-year experience in payroll, preferably in a high-volume environment.
  • Experience with payroll systems and software; proficiency with Workday or similar payroll platforms preferred.
