Duties of the Payroll Specialist:
- Payroll specialist will process weekly payroll for up to 160 employees
- Union and certified payroll and related reporting
- Manage garnishments
- Manage HR pieces of payroll: setup employee records, update elections
- Manage 401K and reporting
- File Payroll taxes
- Month end payroll reconciliations, journal entries and accruals
Preferred Qualifications for the Payroll Specilaist
- 4-6 years of payroll processing experience in a construction company
- Union and certified payroll strongly preferred
- Savvy with technology and learn quickly
- Outgoing personality that builds relationships easily and truly likes helping people
