OVERVIEW OF THE PAYROLL MANAGER ROLE:
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing for employees, including data entry, verification, and distribution of paychecks.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to payroll and taxation.
- Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to gather and verify employee data, including new hires, terminations, and changes in compensation.
- Prepare and submit payroll reports to relevant departments.
- Resolve payroll discrepancies and answer employee inquiries regarding payroll matters.
- Stay informed about changes in payroll regulations and update policies and procedures accordingly.
- Generate and analyze payroll reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE PAYROLL MANAGER:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Payroll Manager or in a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of payroll regulations and compliance.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
