HR Additions has partnered with a manufacturing company in search of a Payroll & Benefits Specialist.
This is in the office daily and it is a direct hire role.

Responsibilities include:
- Review and prepare three payroll cycles - weekly/Bi-Weekly/Semi-monthly
- Manage and work with payroll vendor to transmit payroll.
- Payroll tax reporting
- Reconciliation of payroll and payroll taxes to General Ledger
- Go-to person for day-to-day payroll inquiries and system maintenance.
- Create related payroll register journal entries in our General Ledger
- Provide support for payroll and benefits related audit inquiries.
- Administers benefits including carrier feeds via HRIS.
- Analyze and review all invoices and make appropriate corrections.
- Assist with benefits annual enrollment process, including updating HRIS portal and carrier communication.
- Assist employees with login and member ID information
- Reconciliation of insurance costs monthly
- Preparation of semi-monthly contribution and employer contribution reports
- Prepare annual 401k census report for testing, Form 5500 and manage the 401k audit
Qualifications include:
- 3+ years' experience in payroll processing ADP Workforce Now
- Strong Excel skills: V-lookups and Pivot table experience
- Knowledge of NetSuite and UKG is a plus
