Payroll and Account Payable Specialist

Essential Job Duties
• Obtain and maintain a thorough knowledge of company policies and practices related to payroll, accounts payable, expense reimbursement, purchasing and others to ensure consistent application and compliance.
• Obtain and maintain an understanding of payroll and ERP systems as needed to perform tasks.

Coordinate, prepare and process payroll (US and international) in an accurate, timely and compliant manner.
• Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of labor laws as needed to assure compliance with payroll requirements.
• Review and reconcile periodic payroll tax filings.
• Assist with the accounts payable tasks including processing of vendor invoices and payment requests, employee expense reimbursements, corporate credit card transactions, and entering related information in the ERP system.
• Reconcile vendor statements to processed invoices and assist with resolving discrepancies.
• Assist with maintaining vendor information in the ERP system.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with employees and external contacts as needed.
• Make recommendations for workflow and process improvements.
• Perform administrative and other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's, AA, or AS degree in accounting
• 1-3 years of payroll processing experience (experience with ADP a big plus.)
• Strong communication skills are mandatory
• Ability to work collaboratively across departmental functions
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Problem-solving skills
• Professional maturity Preferred Qualifications
• Experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365
• Experience with ADP WorkforceNow, ADP Celergo

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
