The Company
Novax represents a long-standing mechanical and industrial contractor in the Buffalo area currently looking to expand its commercial team. We are looking for a payroll assistant/ accountant with a background in the industrial or mechanical sectors.
The Role
Efficiently and accurately handle payroll duties for over 150 employees
Generate reports, manage spreadsheets, and furnish data to the CFO upon request
Administer and update payroll and HR database systems
Conduct audits and manage payroll expenses
Handle Certified Payrolls, Compliance Reporting, and Union reports
Proficiently manage high-volume payroll processing
• Managing personnel files, records management
• Learn and become proficient in all accounting practices our other offices
The Candidate
5 years of payroll experience.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent;
Previous construction accounting background
