SUMMARY: Management Business Solutions is seeking a Patient Service Supervisor for its client in Geneva and Penn Yan, NY (link removed) The person will be responsible for overseeing the Admission Services team ensuring proper training on all users, including decentralized areas.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Schedule staff and ensure coverage, including working shifts as needed.
- Manage payroll of staffs.
- Monitor and ensure quality and productivity of staff.
- Develop and maintain policies and procedures.
- Verify daily census accuracy.
- Correct errors in medical records and insurance claims, providing feedback and training.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 3 years of experience in a medical office.
- Experience in supervision with a solid understanding of the revenue cycle and accounts receivable.
- Knowledge of medical terminologies.
- Strong communication and data entry skills.
- Experience in supervision, training, and process improvement.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards.
- Bilingual is preferred.
