Patient Care Technician Per Diem Rotate

Summary The PCT I assists with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to the patients and assists in maintenance of a safe and clean environment under the direction and supervision of the registered nurse in charge of the team and/or unit. Job Requirements Minimum Education High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required. Nursing Assistant Certification or a minimum 1 year of experience performing nursing assistant duties in acute care nursing/hospital setting. Required Licenses/Certifications Current Nursing Assistant Certification is preferred but not required. Current BLS for health care providers from the American Heart Association (AHA) Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) Certification Required Newly hired Nurses must obtain certification within 6 months of Date of Hire. Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Demonstrated proficiency in acute care nursing, knowledge and skills. Ability to use computer driven patient care equipment. Tenet complies with federal, state, and/or local laws regarding mandatory vaccination of its workforce.
