Our Patient Care Technicians provide invaluable direct and indirect patient support under the guidance of skilled RNs and physicians. Your compassionate care will make a significant impact as you assist patients with daily activities, offer emotional support, and even perform more intricate clinical procedures under the expert direction of a Registered Nurse. Responsibilities: Start the day with morning care routines, including bed baths, showers, and personal hygiene, ensuring patient comfort and well-being. Bring comfort to patients during evening care, administering face and hands washing, oral hygiene, and back rubs, among other vital duties. Provide expert assistance in positioning, lifting, turning, and using specialized equipment to enhance patient mobility and comfort. Play a key role in preparing and serving meals, attentively catering to patients' dietary needs and ensuring their satisfaction. - Stay alert and responsive to patients' needs by promptly addressing call lights and conducting regular rounds. Requirements: High School graduate or equivalent educational background is essential. Prioritize patient safety and quality of care with BLS certification required by the end of your orientation class. Dive into your role confidently with at least 1 year of direct patient care experience, ensuring you're well-prepared for success in this per diem opportunity.
