Summary:

Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide the care needed by the patient. The individual must demonstrate knowledge of principles of growth and development for patient groups served, and provide care appropriate to the age of each patient

Minimum Requirements:High School diploma or equivalent and experience in a patient care environment as either a CNA, EMT or graduate of an approved Medical Assistant program, or third-year BSN student, or second year RN student. Participation in a three to seven week orientation provided by the hospital as per unit specifications. Good organization and communication skills. Must relate well to others. Is able to carry out instructions. Has the personal qualities of neatness, accuracy and dependability. Multitasking skills vital.
