Patient Care Technician I Surgical Ortho Days

Up to $3,000 Sign On Bonus available based on experience Summary The Patient Care Tech / PCT II assists with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to the patients and assists in maintenance of a safe and clean environment under the direction and supervision of the registered nurse in charge of the team and/or unit. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required. Nursing Assistant Certification or Medical Assistant Certification or a minimum 1 year of experience performing nursing assistant duties in acute care nursing/hospital setting. Current Nursing Assistant Certification or Medical Assistant Certification or EMS Certification is preferred but not required. Current BLS for health care providers Demonstrated proficiency in acute care nursing, knowledge and skills. Ability to use computer driven patient care equipment. Technical/Vocational training and ongoing demonstrated competence in one or more of the following modalities: EKG reading, HUC/Clerical, Phlebotomy, Monitor Tech Tenet complies with federal, state, and/or local laws regarding mandatory vaccination of its workforce.
