Actively HIRING a PATIENT CARE COORDINATOR for one of the TOP healthcare providers in the state of New York. This position offers competitive pay, great benefits, and opportunities for growth.

Job Description:

  • Assesses a large volume of phone calls and requests both clinical and non-clinical in nature while providing superior customer service and maintaining a one call resolution standard.
  • Assesses a high volume of incoming calls and requests
  • Schedules appointments including but not limited to physicals, office visits, consults, Hospital follow ups and CDL exams for 100+ multi-specialty physicians and other medical professionals.
  • Utilizes all resources available to efficiently and effectively assist all callers.
  • Transfers/ warm-transfers calls to other departments and/or staff members when appropriate.
  • Gathers all pertinent information for requests and relays messages to clinical staff members accordingly.
  • Handles emergencies according to specified procedures
  • Uses NextGen medical software and Microsoft Outlook on a daily basis.
