Patient Care Associate Per Diem EveningsReq : Category:Nurses Aide Status:Per Diem Shift:Evening Facility:Trinitas Regional Medical Center Department:Emergency Department Location: WILLIAMSON STREET, 235 Williamson Street, Elizabeth, NJ 07202 + JOB SUMMARY + PCA's perform a variety of routine and advanced patient care tasks under the direction of nursing staff to assist medical and nursing personnel in the examination, treatment, and care of patients, They perform a variety of clerical and technical tasks as assigned, Participate in patient care interventions and personal care procedures for patients, Perform approved dressings and wound care ;participate in nutritional activities; assist with personal hygiene; assist with ambulation; assist with bowel and bladder elimination; provide such additional care as required to meet the personal needs and comfort of assigned patients + Educational Skills Required (Degree(s), Certification(s), License, etc.) + Completion of related technical education course, on-the-job training or completion of Fundamentals in Nursing course. An ability to perform all competencies is required for employment in this position.
