Job Summary

Directly support the A/R Managers in Patient Accounts by evaluating our needs and current practices and creating and delivering a training development plan complete with materials, tutorials, instructions, and learning resources such as online modules and guides.

Responsibilities

1. Liaise with managers to determine training needs and schedule training sessions. 2. Design effective training programs 3. Select and book venues 4. Conduct seminars, workshops, individual training sessions etc. 5. Keep attendance and other records 6. Conduct evaluations to identify areas of improvement 7. Prepare educational material such as module summaries, videos etc. 8. Support and mentor new employees 9. Monitor employee performance and response to training 10. Make recommendations to the Manager concerning employee selection, performance appraisals, and performance problems. 11. Maintain statistics and reports for the Unit Supervisor to monitor production. 12. Demonstrate very good interpersonal skills by using sound judgment and tact at all times. 13. Monitor and review the workload that is distributed to each employee. Assist the Supervisor whenever necessary in establishing workflow guidelines and procedures. 14. Make decisions within the established policies, procedures and guidelines. 15. Communicate to the trainees about what is expected out of training in a simple and professional way

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Patient Group Knowledge (Only applies to positions with direct patient contact) The employee must possess/obtain (by the end of the orientation period) and demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide developmentally appropriate assessment, treatment or care as defined by the department's identified patient ages. Specifically the employee must be able to demonstrate competency in: 1) ability to obtain and interpret information in terms of patient needs; 2) knowledge of growth and development; and 3) understanding of the range of treatment needed by the patients. Competency Statement Must demonstrate competency through an initial orientation and ongoing competency validation to independently perform tasks and additional duties as specified in the job description and the unit/department specific competency checklist. Common Duties and Responsibilities (Essential duties common to all positions) 1. Maintain and document all applicable required education. 2. Demonstrate positive customer service and co-worker relations. 3. Comply with the company's attendance policy. 4. Participate in the continuous, quality improvement activities of the department and institution. 5. Perform work in a cost effective manner. 6. Perform work in accordance with all departmental pay practices and scheduling policies, including but not limited to, overtime, various shift work, and on-call situations. 7. Perform work in alignment with the overall mission and strategic plan of the organization. 8. Follow organizational and departmental policies and procedures, as applicable. 9. Perform related duties as assigned.

Education

• Bachelor's Degree (Required) Education: Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Finance, or related field Experience: 3 years Health care field and/or financial receivable management and/or computer systems analysis Substitution: 5 years work-related experience in Revenue Cycle
