Job Details

Lead and supervise the Service function, ensuring the team's performance and growth.
Manage Service operations to achieve guaranteed availability with expected margins, maintaining consistent service excellence throughout the Midwest US.
Provide regular project updates, leveraging expertise to resolve issues effectively.
Represent the Service department in customer meetings, offering technical insights for successful outcomes.
Assist in budgeting and financial analysis alongside the Service Manager - US and Managing Director.
Ensure smooth transition of new installations from Projects to Service.
Uphold Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality standards within the Service team.
Ensure compliance with customer protocols and procedures, including callouts.
Keep the Service Manager - US and Managing Director informed and address issues promptly.
Conduct annual performance reviews for the Field Service team.
Coordinate with personnel on various aspects of the distributor relationship.
Attend global service meetings as needed.

Fulfill any additional duties assigned by the Service Manager - US and Managing Director.
Specific Responsibilities:
A) New Product Development: Execute local project plans for introducing new Service offerings.
B) Service Technician Development: Maintain and enhance technician evaluation, development, and training programs.
C) Key Suppliers: Improve purchasing processes with key suppliers to optimize savings.
D) Other: Assist the Managing Director in strengthening the Service function in the Midwest US.

Required Skills and Experience:

Preferably familiar with gas compression, power generation , gas engine and cogeneration modules , or raw landfill gas for combustion in reciprocating engines and other power equipment.
Proficient in Power Generation, CHP
Experience in service pricing modeling and contract documentation.
Minimum 10 years of service industry experience.
Strong customer relationship-building skills.
Proficient in IT.
Change management and performance management experience.
Coaching abilities.
