Our organization is seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Parts Manager to join our Dealership. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of our parts department, including inventory control, parts ordering, and customer service. This role requires a professional who can effectively manage a team and work closely with our Sales Manager to ensure the smooth operation of our parts department. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in parts management within the engineering industry and will be comfortable in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the daily operations of the parts department, ensuring efficient and effective processes.
  • Manage parts inventory, ensuring optimal stock levels are maintained at all times to support business operations.
  • Work closely with the Sales Manager to forecast parts needs and coordinate orders.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing customer inquiries and resolving any issues promptly and professionally.
  • Lead, manage, and develop a team, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
  • Coordinate the ordering of parts, liaising with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and accurate invoicing.
  • Implement and maintain inventory control systems and procedures, ensuring accurate record keeping.
  • Conduct regular audits of parts inventory to prevent loss and ensure accuracy.
  • Stay updated on the latest industry trends, products, and technologies to enhance service offerings.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in parts management within the dealership industry.
  • Proven experience in inventory management, parts ordering, and team management.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with a commitment to providing exceptional service.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software.
  • Demonstrated ability to work closely with a Sales Manager to achieve business objectives.
  • Knowledge of the latest industry trends, products, and technologies.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
  • A degree in Engineering, Business Management, or a related field is an advantage.
