Part-Time Truck Driver AgState is currently seeking a Part-Time truck driver to support our location operations. The truck driver position will work to deliver grain, agronomy, and feed products to other locations and end users. Do you love driving a truck, but want to be home every night? SUMMARY: Drive tractor trailer combination to transport and deliver grain, agronomy, and feed products by performing the following duties: ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Drive truck to deliver grain, agronomy, and feed products to end users and within our company as transfers. Perform regular maintenance checks on truck/daily pre-trip inspections. Schedule all maintenance with appropriate personnel. Loads/unloads truck. Keeps vehicle clean at all times in accordance with company image. Utilize good customer service skills at all times, when servicing and greeting customers, and when working with co-workers and other departments within the company. Work in a safe and efficient manner, according to our Company's Safety Policy. Assist with other locations, as needed. Other duties may be assigned. Must be a team player. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and medical requirements and pass substance abuse screening. Must be able to lift 50 from the floor to a height of 48". Requires a high degree of attention and dexterity. May be required to wear respirator. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Must have and maintain a valid Class A CDL with endorsements. Will train.
