Provide Distance Education, Placement Testing and other tests to students for the various programs of study at Brightpoint Community College; monitor email and communications; provide testing assistance for students with disabilities. Currently seeking applicants with availability to work a schedule to include 20-29 hours weekly Monday - Friday, primarily based at the Chester Campus. (Positions are limited to working up to 29 hours a week and may vary throughout the year. Incumbents may be required to work either campus as needed, week-day hours, two evenings a week, and Saturdays.) Special Assignments May be required to perform other duties as assigned. May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor. KSA's/Required Qualifications Experience working with students in a higher education environment. Must have excellent communication skills, computer and customer service skills; be able to work in a fast paced, diverse, and occasionally stressful environment. Applicants must also have the ability to work a flexible schedule at either the Chester or Midlothian campuses and accept related duties as assigned in a relatively unsupervised capacity. Successful completion and passing of a background check is required for employment. Additional Considerations Knowledge of on-line testing Canvas and Microsoft Office applications strongly considered.
