Part Time AP Clerk - Halethorpe, MD

About the Company and Part Time AP Clerk Opportunity:

  • Our repeat client is a non profit in Halethorpe in business for over 20 years. They train individuals coming out of incarceration to become mechanics and fix up donated vehicles to award to economically challenged families in the Baltimore area.
  • Due to growth, they are currently looking to hire a part time AP Clerk to join their small accounting team.
    • Candidates must be available right away and open to a part time flexible schedule.
  • Position is 100% in office in Halethorpe, MD. Free parking on site.
    • Schedule: 24-30 hours per week, flexible schedule between 9am-5pm
  • Reports directly to the CFO

Job Duties of the Part Time AP Clerk Include:

  • Processing about 25-30 invoices daily
  • Performing reconciliations
  • Get reimbursements for grants (organization is grant funded)
  • Perform billing
  • Assist with AR functions as needed

Qualifications for the Accounts Payable Clerk:

  • 2+ years' accounting experience required
  • Associates degree in a related field is a plus
  • QuickBooks Desktop experience required
  • Basic Excel skills
