Part Time Accounts Payable Specialist

Creative Financial Staffing is working on backfilling a Part Time Accounts Payable Specialist role with our client in Chicopee. We placed their Part Time Accounts Payable Specialist in January on a temporary basis, and she just landed a permanent opportunity elsewhere. We're looking to source a new Part Time Accounts Payable Specialist for a Monday start date.

Position: Part Time Accounts Payable Specialist (see below in italics)
Location: Chicopee, MA
Compensation: Up to $26/hour

About the Position:

• Stable organization, that's been in business for nearly 100 years
• This position reports to the Controller
• The Part Time Accounts Payable Specialist will work 3-4 days per week/Monday - Thursday, up to 28 hours
• CFS placed their Part Time Accounts Payable Specialist a few months ago on a temporary engagement
• That individual just landed a permanent role, and is leaving. We are backfilling the role, starting a new candidate this Monday.

Responsibilities of the Part Time Accounts Payable Specialist:

• Full cycle Accounts Payable, processing a high volume of invoices per week (200+)
• Manage the check runs

Preferred Qualifications of the Position:

• Candidates must be able to process a high volume of invoices, and move quickly to keep up with the fast pace environment. This is a must-have.
