Our esteemed law firm is seeking a dedicated and passionate Permanent Paralegal specializing in Personal Injury cases. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team of legal professionals, providing comprehensive support to our attorneys and ensuring the smooth operation of our legal processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing calendars, scheduling, and providing law clerk duties, with a strong emphasis on Personal Injury cases. Being bilingual in English and Spanish is a requirement for this role.

Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Paralegal - Personal Injury, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

1. Assisting attorneys in the preparation and filing of all court documents.
2. Managing attorney calendars, scheduling appointments, court dates, and deadlines.
3. Conducting client interviews and maintaining general contact with clients.
4. Researching and analyzing law sources such as statutes, recorded judicial decisions, legal articles, treaties, constitutions, and legal codes to prepare legal documents, such as briefs, pleadings, appeals, wills, contracts, etc.
5. Performing a variety of law clerk duties including maintaining case files, drafting legal documents, and coordinating with court clerks.
6. Assisting in the preparation of personal injury cases from onset to conclusion.
7. Providing translation services for our Spanish-speaking clients and facilitating communication between attorneys and clients.
8. Ensuring all client information is kept confidential and secure.

Job Details

Qualifications:
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must have:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in personal injury law.
2. Proficiency in managing calendars, scheduling, and performing law clerk duties.
3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish.
4. A comprehensive understanding of personal injury law and court procedures.
5. Strong research and report-generating skills.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
7. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
8. Proficiency in using legal software and Microsoft Office Suite.
9. A paralegal certification is preferred.
