Bankruptcy Defense Paralegal

Objective:
As a Bankruptcy Defense Paralegal, you will play a crucial role in assisting attorneys in defending clients against bankruptcy actions. Your expertise will be instrumental in conducting thorough research, preparing legal documents, and ensuring clients receive the highest quality representation.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with attorneys to develop defense strategies for clients facing bankruptcy.
- Conduct detailed research on bankruptcy laws, regulations, and case precedents.
- Assist in drafting and filing legal documents, including motions, objections, and responses.
- Manage communication with clients, creditors, and court personnel.
- Prepare clients for bankruptcy hearings and trials, providing guidance and support throughout the process.
- Analyze financial documents and records to uncover relevant information for defense strategies.
- Coordinate with external experts, such as financial analysts or expert witnesses, as needed.
- Maintain organized case files and documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Stay updated on changes in bankruptcy law and procedures, incorporating relevant developments into defense strategies.

Experience and Requirements:
- Proven experience as a paralegal, with specific experience in bankruptcy defense highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of bankruptcy laws, procedures, and court rules.
