Job Details

Job Overview:

• Assist attorneys in managing a caseload of wrongful termination cases.
• Conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and prepare case summaries.
• Client Communication:
• Communicate effectively with clients in both English and Spanish, ensuring a clear understanding of their case status and addressing any concerns.
• Assist in client interviews and document collection.
• Court Filings and Procedures:
• Prepare and file legal documents with state and federal courts.
• Maintain knowledge of court rules and procedures.
• Discovery Support: Assist in the discovery process, including document review, organization, and preparation of responses to discovery requests.
• Legal Research: Conduct legal research on relevant statutes, regulations, and case law.
• Stay informed about changes in employment law and discrimination issues.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with attorneys, legal assistants, and support staff to ensure seamless workflow.
• Attend team meetings and contribute insights to case strategy.
• Translation Services: Provide translation services for legal documents, correspondence, and client communications as needed.
• Assist with administrative tasks such as billing, timekeeping, and maintaining client records.
• Manage and organize case-related documents in electronic and physical filing systems.

Job Requirement:

• Bilingual, Spanish
• 1-3 years of exp
