Fellowship Director of Palliative Care opportunity in Pennsylvania 30 miles from Pittsburgh Position Details: - Full-time, permanent, hospital-employed position- Not-for-profit community hospital located in Washington, PA, is seeking a Board Certified Palliative Medicine Physician to join an established palliative/hospice service. - This unique opportunity is open to an enthusiastic candidate interested in enhancing a quality palliative medicine program while leading a fellowship training program.- Inpatient consultation service averaging 8-10 patients per day- Continue development of outpatient services- Recruitment of fellowship candidates- Develop and direct the approved Fellowship in accordance with the general and specialty-specific regulations- Shared call with up to 4 other providers Requirements: - Fellowship trained preferred- Hospice and Palliative Medicine (Board Certified)- Prefer 2 years post graduate clinical experience- Teaching experience preferred- M.D. or D.O.
