Job Description Job Description Description: SUPPLIERS MANAGEMENT :
  • Conduct ongoing market research to identify potential vendors and maintain knowledge of market/industry trends.
  • Establish connections with those vendors.
  • Find new packaging suppliers (and occasionally ingredient suppliers) for new projects, back-up suppliers for existing Packaging items, new cost effective suppliers for existing items. This includes : find serious candidates, check capabilities (manufacturing location, warehousing, lead time, colors, industrial volume ), requesting quotes, review and compare quotes to keep only serious candidates to present to R&D team for further trials.
  • Organize, with R&D, the purchase of material for trials.
  • Attend meetings with vendors and take minutes.
  • Organize trips to merchandising events and make travel arrangements as required.
  • Establish with suppliers beneficial relationship and purchase agreements
  • Assist with periodic forecasting analysis and review annual needs
  • Update relevant databases in the ERP (Updating cost for existing item as well as new item cost )
  • Participate in standard cost determination;
KPIs : Implement and roll out procurement key indicators.

REPORTING : Assist in preparing Procurement Reports, Help filling Norac group pricing analysis

OTHER :
  • Help implementing MRP
  • Perform routine administrative tasks for the department.
  • Help building tools to improve overall functioning/reporting of the department.
  • Any other relevant duties as assigned by the Corporate Procurement Manager from time to time (ingredient sourcing .).
Requirements:

•Bachelor minimum,

•3 5 years preferably of related work experience in procurement and/or packaging within the manufacturing industry

•Ability to negotiate, analyze, improve processes.

•Advanced Excel skills (pivots, v-lookups, and data manipulation)

•Proven ability to communicate effectively across multi-site operations within the US and Internationally

•Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task will be essential

•Experience in operating in an ERP (Sage X3, SAP ) and proven ability to make improvements in the ERP

•Ability to be autonomous
