Packaging Machinery Controls Technician

Ensure all machinery control programs developed are efficient and adhere to the standards and needs of customer. Responsibilities: Introduce programming improvements in automated systems that are consistent with customer changes or manufacturing needs Implement application requirements related to automated consumer product packaging functions including: filling; capping; labeling; boxing; cartoning; palletizing; etc De-bug, tryout and verify input and output signals and interference zones in the system. Participate in the off-line robotic simulation process in conjunction with input and output signals signs and application data. Perform the uploading and downloading of robot paths and control programs and to complete on-line adjustments as required. JOB REQUIREMENTS Associates in Robotic & Automation Control Systems Engineering or equivalent experience. Understand manufacturing systems and operations, including mechanical, electrical and controls processes. Able to read and interpret general automation controls circuits and application drawings, machine controls design and logic drawings, PLC logic and robotic application software.
