Job Description

As a Resort Services Supervisor, you will:

Notify telephone company of switchboard operational difficulties reported by operators.

Maintain record of incoming and outgoing long distance and tie line calls, noting duration and time of calls.

Compile a phone directory, arrange for distribution to designated personnel and keep record of directories distributed.

Assign switchboard positions.

Determine work procedures, prepare work schedules, and expedite workflow.

Issue written and oral instructions.

Assign duties and examine work for exactness, neatness, and compliance to policies and procedures.

Study and standardize procedures to improve efficiency of subordinates.

Maintain harmony among workers and resolves grievances.

Prepare composite reports from individual reports of subordinates.

Adjust errors and manage complaints.

Train new team members and keep attendance records.

Ensure faxes and mail is distributed and handled correctly.

Conduct a daily audit and trace any questionable phone problems.
