Come join our awesome team as an Overnight Residential Counselor at Bar None Omegon/ShelterPlus in St. Francis. We are offering a generous sign-on bonus of $500. Shift Details: FT or PT available - 2-5 shifts per week Schedule: Overnights: 10pm-8am Four weekend shifts per month required Wednesdays from 8:30am-11:30am for team meetings required Compensation: $18.50/hr (plus $1/hr shift premium for overnights and weekends) Potential for wage increases every six months with positive performance. Location: 22426 St. Francis Blvd NW, St. Francis, MN 55303 About the job: As an Overnight Residential Counselor, you will make measurable difference in demonstrating and equipping the youths with tools, skills, and hope. Bar None Service Lines: Youth Residential Shelter Program The ShelterPlus Program at Bar None exists to provide a trauma-informed living environment for male and female adolescents ages of 11-17 years old who are facing a disruption in housing due to family crisis, behavior difficulties, and/or other need for out of home placement. The program specifically emphasizes on skills development for youth and their families to stabilize and manage emotional and behavioral difficulties faced in preparation for change in their lives. Goals of the program are inclusive of challenging youth to create a new vision by giving them respect, instilling values, developing skills, and enhancing self-worth. Youth Residential Treatment Program Omegon is a co-educational residential treatment facility which offers trauma-informed services for male and female adolescents, ages 12 through 17, who are experiencing serious emotional, social and/or behavioral difficulties, and/or history of chemical use. The Omegon program offers group, individual, and family therapies, as well as chemical health counseling, in addition to health-oriented recreational, independent living skill activities, and specialized milieu groups. Our treatment program is guided by psychiatric, psychological, educational, and family system evaluations to ensure treatment plans are individualized and person-centered.
