Overnight Pharmacist

Department: Heritage Valley Beaver - Inpatient Pharmacy Work Hours: 7 on/7 off - Monday through Monday (8pm-6am); work 70 hours per pay cycle and receive pay for 75 hours with shift differential; holidays will be worked as they line up with specific bi-weekly rotation. This important position will be responsible for order verification, pharmacy clinical work, and other essential elements of workflow with a full-time pharmacy technician. This position is responsible to provide consultative and drug information services to the medical and nursing staff for all 3 campus overnight. Requirements Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy Pharmacy license of good standing in the state of Pennsylvania Ability to work well under pressure with minimal staff while having flexibility to do what is necessary to successfully complete various tasks that come about throughout the night-shift Must have the ability to expertly communicate verbally and in writing Must be adaptable to change Must know and understand the law as it applies to hospital practices. Successful completion of Acts 73 and/or 169 clearances within 90 days of commencing employment, if applicable. Preferred Three years of night-time shift hospital experience. At least 3 years experience working in a mid-to-large sized hospital inpatient pharmacy setting.
