Salary: $90,000 - $100,000 per year

A bit about us:

Our client serves the NE Illinois & Southern Wisconsin construction markets transforming natural sand and gravel, recycled concrete and asphalt into construction aggregates serving aspects of the road building as well as the residential and commercial construction industries. They also serve the organics industry, recycling private and municipal yard waste into various compost, mulch, and amended soils used in a multitude of sports, landscape and construction applications.
Effective 2023, they rolled out a high-end line of bunker and topdressing sands, divot mixes, and a myriad of amended soils targeting the Golf & Sports industry.

Job Details

Job Responsibilities:
  • Sell and promote a highly regarded line of golf course, sports, and organics' materials and services within our target market
  • Develop and maintain productive working relationships with private and public golf course cliental, equestrian applications, sports field / turf managers, landscape supply yards / contractors, operating partners, and internal operating support groups
  • Identify new business and target specific accounts and prospects to meet or exceed sales objectives
  • Participate and attend golf & sports industry association events to include annual and monthly meeting(s) that requires golf outing participation.
  • Daily face to face interaction with industry cliental soliciting high end products and services based off internal inventory requirements and customer demand maximizing value and company profitability
  • Market liaison to executive management and operation management providing strategic market feedback relative to competitive strategies
  • Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the company's products, services, and policies.
  • Provide product and delivery proposals to customers and negotiate pricing / terms as required. Tracking quote follow-up through a pipeline report
