This position is eligible for a $4/hour Urgent Care shift differential $5,000 sign-on bonus available for new hires Position Performs all diagnostic radiologic examinations that create the images needed for diagnosis. The radiographer integrates scientific knowledge and technical skills with effective patient interaction to provide quality patient care and useful diagnostic information. Primary Position Responsibilities Maintain high degree of accuracy and quality in patient positioning, machine set-up, radiation exposure technique, image acquisition and post-processing. Follow all National Patient Safety Goals. Provide recordkeeping of patient history and symptoms. Review orders, explain procedure, answer questions and provide a high level of patient satisfaction. Assist physician in the performance of fluoroscopic and/or invasive radiological procedures. Maintains cleanliness of department and assures adequate supply inventory. Work Contact Group (Internal/External) Physicians, hospital staff, patients, families Reporting Relationships Reports to (position): Director Urgent Care Supervises (position(s): None Qualifications Minimum Education: Required: Certificate and/or Advanced Specialized or Technical Training in Radiologic Technology-accredited in JRCERT Preferred: Associates Degree in Radiologic Sciences preferred Minimum Years of Experience (Amount, Type and Variation): Required: None Preferred: 1-2 years Radiography experience preferred License, Registry or Certification: Required: ARRT Registry in Radiography required or registry-eligible and NJDEP Xray License.
