Salisbury Behavioral Health is seeking a Fee for Service Mental Health Professional Licensed Clinical Therapist, for our outpatient program located in Bethlehem, PA. The therapist will work primarily in our outpatient program which is co-located within the schools of the Catasauqua Area School District. Additionally, the therapist will be available for evenings and/or Saturday hours as needed, in our Bethlehem, PA offices.

The Mental Health Professional is a member of a multidisciplinary team and is responsible for assessment, treatment plan development and service delivery. The Mental Health Professional provides individual and group delivered therapy to children and their families as clinically indicated. Therapists work with the child and family to improve overall mental health.

The Summary: The Mental Health Professional is a member of a multidisciplinary team and is responsible for assessment, treatment plan development and service delivery. The Mental Health Professional provides individual and group delivered therapy to children and their families as clinically indicated. Therapists work with the child and family to improve overall mental health.

Rate: $34.00-$36.00 part time

Stay Bonus 2,000 pay structure as followed:
  • Bonus is for full time employees and paid out in increments of 3
  • $400 after 3 months
  • $800 at 6 months
  • $800 at 12 months

Position Requirements:

Education: Master's Level Therapist (Mental Health Professional) Qualifications
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Psychologist or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
  • Graduate degree with field placement in psychology or related field
  • Valid driver's license

Work Experience:
  • Previous experience working with children and families in an outpatient setting.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide individual, family and group psychotherapy within outpatient program service, primarily located within school district setting.
  • Must be experienced working with children's behavioral health issues in an outpatient or similar level of care.
  • Maintain compliance with CASSP principles & principles of cultural competence.
  • Maintain compliance with the Medical Assistance and Managed Care regulations in accordance with Commonwealth of Pennsylvania's outpatient program regulations.
  • Communication with families, schools, school districts, managed care organizations, referral sources and other providers as necessary to ensure satisfaction with services received, continuity of care and promote quality client care Promote program growth, quality of services.
  • Maintain productivity and complete documentation within established guidelines.
  • Complete initial assessments and treatment plans, and updates within established program timelines.
  • Attend staff training and supervisions as assigned.
  • Assist in the preparation process prior to external/internal audits and reviews.
  • Participate in commercial insurance credentialing process and maintain eligibility.
