Job Summary:

In accordance with the organization's mission, vision and values, the Outpatient Clinic Director is responsible for the daily operation of the outpatient unit. The Director will assure agency & program compliance and fidelity in strategic business goals.

Minimum Qualifications:

Licensed healthcare professional including LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, and RN. Preferred 3 years previous supervisory experience in behavioral health clinical settings. Valid NYS driver license. Ability to develop and implement new programs. Familiarity within community work including outreach, crisis, and maintaining safety in the field.

Duties:

1. Engage with leadership in the clinical development and oversight of the Penn Yan Outpatient Center to support staff to achieve clinical excellence and strategic vision.

2. Provide on call agency support as part of the Mental Health on all rotation

3. Ensure adherence to FLACRA policies and treatment philosophy as well as regulatory guidance for all programs (Mental Health, Substance Use, CCBHC, etc)

4. Facilitates motivational team building and group supervision.

5. Complete staff evaluations and professional development plans as prescribed by the agency.

6. Lead and participate in general, staff, in-service and supervisory meetings held by the Agency.

7. Maintain required reporting, records and statistics as directed.

8. Develops and maintain positive and effective relationships with community groups, referral sources and service agencies.

9. Recruits, screens and interviews prospective staff. Assess staff training needs and assist in the development of those needs.

10. Participate in community presentations and training programs.

11. Assess staff training needs and assist in the development of those needs.

12. Training of all new direct reports.

13. Assure coordination of care within agency programs as well as with community partners.

14. Maintain program functioning through appropriate staff scheduling.

15. Provides monthly statistical reporting and data for analysis of residential intake programming.

16. Demonstrates teamwork and an ability to work in a team environment with coworkers and supervisors. Demonstrates the ability to be flexible and cooperative.

17. Responds appropriately to crisis/emergency situations in order to ensure/secure the safety/well-being of the clients.

18. Assures all documentation is completed in a timely and accurate manner in compliance with agency/OASAS/OMH regulations, practices, policies & procedures.

19. Demonstrates professionalism by providing quality service and care with respect and dignity for the clients and as a representative of FLACRA.

20. FLACRA Values the continuous development of program and service lines to support our community. Additional responsibilities may be required as programs are developed and leadership is expected to support development, oversight and function of additional service lines.

21. Perform other duties and functions as directed.
