JOB DESCRIPTION:Excellent opportunity for a Psychiatry Residency Program Director to provide professional expertise and leadership to a new Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship in beautiful North Carolina. Experience teaching in an approved AOA or ACGME Psychiatry Residency or Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship Program and experience with publications and grant writing skills preferred. Applicant must be board certified in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. The Program Director will:Provide administrative leadership and direction to the programProvide direct patient care and supervision residency support staffDevelop, revise, and maintain curriculumLead in residents' performance improvement plansCoaching, remediation and disciplinary activities as neededEnsure Annual Program Evaluation with Accreditation Council for GME Successful candidates will thrive in a collaborative and supportive environment.
