Job Description The University of Nevada, Las Vegas invites applications for Otolaryngologist, Assistant/Associate Professor, Department of Otolaryngology, Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine R . Role of the Position The Division of Otolaryngology, at the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at UNLV, is seeking a General Otolaryngologist at the Assistant/Associate Professor level. Come join a growing academic Department in Las Vegas with 8 full time faculty, 2 audiologists, 2 physician assistants and an accredited residency program. Responsibilities include patient care, research and teaching (didactic and bedside) for Otolaryngology residents, other residencies, and medical students patient care with surgical diseases in both inpatient and outpatient care settings, and clinical and/or basic science research. Must take calls and obtain privileges at several hospitals in the Las Vegas area. This non-tenure track position is a Full-Time position with a varied work schedule and a rotational-shared call schedule (day, night and weekends). The successful candidate will have a strong interest in teaching fellows, residents, medical students, and sustaining an outpatient clinical practice. Board eligible/certified in Otolaryngology. If board eligible, must obtain board certification within two years of employment. Candidates must be eligible for an unrestricted Nevada medical license, malpractice insurance and must be able to be successfully credentialed by Southern Nevada teaching hospitals and/or clinics.
