Summary To use paint/body experience, Grit Blast, and sound judgment to complete assigned paint requirements.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities - Complete assigned Lean initiatives including 5s activities
- Troubleshoot problems, identify and communicate discrepancies
- Complete required paint documentation including VOC log and check sheets
- Move painted parts to the next process verifying they meet company specifications
- Recommend improvements to paint procedures
- Perform all duties in a safe manner and keep all employees aware of dangers in work area
- Practice good housekeeping in work area
- Follow Safety, Health, Environment, and Hazardous Waste rules and responsibilities
- Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the company's discretion
Qualifications - High school diploma or GED
- Technical / vocational / or military training or related experience
- Typically has five or more years auto paint and body experience
- Experience with prep, grit blast and final paint of heavy machinery required
- Ability to work productively and cohesively in a diverse and multicultural environment
Pay Details: $18.50 to $20.00 per hour
