PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT (PA-C) - ORTHOPEDICS/SPORTS MEDICINE

MONDAY-FRIDAY, 8-5 NO CALL, NO WEEKENDS

Our client is seeking a dedicated, highly skilled Orthopedic Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join their team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated individual who is eager to advance their career while making a real difference in the lives of patients. As an Orthopedic Physician Assistant with their group, you will work closely with a team of skilled Orthopedic Surgeons, providing top-tier care to patients with a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions.

Qualifications:

  • Must be licensed to practice in the state of California
  • Minimum 2+ years of PA experience required
  • Proven experience working in Orthopedics is required
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced, high pressure environment
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with patients and medical staff is crucial

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients with orthopedic conditions.
  • Performing physical examinations, interpreting diagnostic tests, and developing treatment plans.
  • Providing pre and post operative care (this particular role will be 100% clinical, first assist experience is not required)
  • Providing patient education on orthopedic conditions, treatment options, and preventative measures.
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Conducting research to stay abreast of the latest developments in orthopedics and sports medicine.
  • Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
