Job Details

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Permanent Orthopedic Physician Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional patient care and possess a strong background in orthopedics. This is a full-time position with competitive compensation and benefits package.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including medical history review, physical exams, and diagnostic testing
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the supervising physician
  • Perform various orthopedic procedures, such as joint injections, wound care, and casting/splinting
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as X-rays and MRIs
  • Provide patient education on injury prevention, treatment options, and rehabilitation exercises
  • Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physical therapists and surgeons, to ensure coordinated care

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
  • Current PA license and certification in the state of practice
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in outpatient orthopedics
  • Strong knowledge of orthopedic conditions, treatments, and procedures
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high patient volumes
