Organizational Consultant (Lean Six Sigma Black Belt) Location: Aberdeen, MD (Hybrid Onsite at least 1 day a week) Clearance Requirement: Secret Clearance Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Organizational Consultant with expertise in Lean Six Sigma methodologies. The ideal candidate will possess a Black Belt certification and a Secret Clearance, along with proven experience in assessing organizational structures, analyzing workflows, and implementing process improvements. This position will be based in Aberdeen, MD, with a hybrid onsite work arrangement. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive assessments of organizational structures and operational processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze data, develop performance metrics, and establish benchmarks for process optimization. Lead Lean Six Sigma projects and use of the methodology to drive continuous improvement. Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and stakeholder meetings to promote awareness of Lean Six Sigma principles and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Develop and implement strategies to standardize processes, reduce waste, and enhance operational efficiency across the organization. Provide expert guidance and mentorship to project teams and stakeholders, ensuring adherence to Lean Six Sigma best practices and principles. Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and recommendations for senior leadership, highlighting key findings, progress, and outcomes of process improvement initiatives. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in Lean Six Sigma methodology. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations Management, or related field or relevant work experience. Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification from a recognized accrediting body (e.g., ASQ, IASSC). Minimum of 5 years of experience in organizational consulting, process improvement, or related field. Demonstrated expertise in applying Lean Six Sigma methodologies to drive process optimization and efficiency improvements. Proven track record of successfully leading Lean Six Sigma projects and delivering measurable results. Active Secret Clearance or ability to obtain one. Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to collect, interpret, and analyze data to support decision-making and problem-solving. Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in project management tools, statistical analysis software, and Microsoft Office Suite. Experience working in DoD or Federal government contracting HIGHLY preferred.
